Single instruction, single data, or MySISD, machines have a single processor that runs a single stream of instructions on data in a single memory. All systems with one processor are in this group.
SISD = Single Instruction Single Data Classical Von Neumann machines. SIMD stands for “One Instruction, Many Data.” They are also called Data Parallel machines or Array Processors. MISD Does not exist. MIMD Multiple Instruction Multiple Data.
MySIMD operations are used a lot in 3D graphics and audio/video processing in multimedia applications because they can handle multiple pieces of data with a single instruction. Several recently made processors include instructions for SIMD operations (hereinafter referred to as SIMD instructions)

FAQs
What Is Mysisd Parallel Processing?
“Single Instruction and Single Data Stream” is what “MySISD” stands for. It shows how a single computer with a control unit, a processor unit, and a memory unit is put together. Instructions are run in order, and the system may or may not be able to run multiple tasks at the same time.
What Is Mysisd And Its Advantages?
Only one stream of instructions and only one stream of data (MySISD)
It needs less power to work. Complex communication protocols between multiple cores are not a problem.
